I’ve mentioned StockTwits many times in the past on my blog. It is certainly a fast growing community featuring suite of investors offering valuable stock discussions every day, live. Now StockTwits has recently launched a newly developed tool more powerful than ever, empowering investors with a vast amount of information at their fingertips.

Steve Place (Twitter @stevenplace) has come a long way since his time posting stock discussion videos drinking a beer on a Wednesday night. Contrary to the typical perception of an electrical engineer’s career path, Steve took full advantage of the knowledge he amassed studying electrical engineering in college to build what is now a noteworthy investing career. Now a professional options trader managing his own premium site Investing With Options (part of the StockTwits Network), he is banking bucks alright.

Chris Nelder is your go-to guy when it comes to energy. With almost a decade of extensive research under his belt, Chris’ knowledge and passion in energy cannot be topped by many. What’s really interesting about Chris though, is that he has quite an unique background. Describing himself as an autodidactic polymath, he’s held a hundred different jobs in the past and is on his 5th career now. With education in English, psychology, and computer science, he’s been involved as a technical writer, a software engineer, a book publisher, an entrepreneur, a blogger, and now an energy expert writing articles for Energy and Capital. Now try topping that background!
