• Some Thoughts After Going Through My Scans…

  After going through everything, I didn't see as many breakdowns in individual stocks as I expected to see. Sure, many pulled back and some broke key technicals levels today (see MS as it broke a trendline from November '08), but I also saw a lot of stocks pull back into levels that I believe they can bounce from, at least for a little bit.

  Hi traders -well, after seeing the inability of the bears to do much of anything today, I was more bullish than I have been in about two weeks today. That is until I went through my scans. Unfortunately, when I did that, all I found was a lot of super-choppy charts that were all over the place. I was hoping to find some very nice bases being formed, but at least in the charts I follow, I just didn't find too many. That has me back to being basically neutral on this market and expecting more chop.

  Here's a few short videos for you to check out tonight traders. As I show in part one, we are in an area where certainly a pullback would not be unexpected, but that doesn't mean it has to happen. The U.S. dollar is really dictating a lot of action right now, and with its breakdown today, the market can still move higher this week. Part two looks at some possible setups if that happens. • Stock Market Videos – Midweek Market Summary

  Hi traders - here are two videos for the rest of the week. The market had quite a bit of bad stuff thrown at it with the China selloff, the oil selloff, and the disappointing auctions of government bonds, but it still didn't have a really bad day. As I show in the first video, the indices are consolidating nicely and I have to respect that. Therefore, I remain bullish and will continue to look for long setups - part two goes over some to check out.

  Hi traders - here are two videos for the upcoming week. If you read my post for Friday, you know where I stand overall on this market. Caution is warranted and I wouldn't be buying stuff left and right based on the overextended nature of things, but I have a few setups that I really like and if they trigger, I will probably enter with tight stops. I will also continue to look for earnings play as the releases keep coming. It should be an interesting week. • Stock Market Videos – Tuesday Market Summary – 7/21/09

  Hi traders - here are a few videos for the rest of the week. After going through my scans, a pullback certainly would not be surprising very soon, but I also would not be surprised if we continue to grind higher as well. I do see a few stocks setting up on the long side that interest me and I show you those in the video, but not without pullbacks first, so I will likely continue to sit out aside from possible earnings plays the rest of this week. I put some possible short plays in here in case the overdue pullback does play out - always try to be prepared for anything the market throws at you. • The KEY Stock to Watch for This Market Right Now

  Quick video tonight traders - I take a short look at the indices and why I am still slightly bearish to neutral today first before moving onto an analysis of a very important stock right now in my opinion. I looked at this stock today in my scans and something about it stood out to me. I get the feeling that the action here over the next few days could be a giant clue as to where this market heads the rest of the year. The funny thing is is that I think what most people might expect to happen is exactly what won't happen, but I explain that in the video. • Stock Market Videos- 7/1/09

  Hi traders - here's two videos for tonight - their titles say it all. I tried to break it into two out of convenience for the readers - perhaps you only trade ETF's or want to only see some setups. Please let me know if you have a preference for shorter videos broken up like this or the longer ones with everything all together as one. Overall, as you will see in the videos, the patterns are all still saying caution is warranted here, especially in the oil sector. I don't think I will be doing anything tomorrow due to the holiday and light volume, but I remain somewhat bearish here. Good luck Thursday.
